Millennials Entering the Market

More young people, mostly Millennials, are entering the housing market because of new mortgage rules. There are so many twists and turns when it comes to buying a home, having it inspected, applying for a loan, and so much more. Before making the move to becoming a homeowner, there are some things to do:

The home buying process can be stressful for many and taking time to make sure you are ready to make the move to buy. If you are preparing to relocate in the next few years or aren't ready to make the commitment, you should hold off buying a home.

If you are ready to buy, hire the right team to help you. A real estate agent is here to help make the whole process easier. Take to ask them questions to ensure you hire the best agent for you.

But, before you hire an agent, talk with your bank, credit union, or mortgage lender to know exactly how much you can afford and get pre-approved for your home loan. By getting pre-approved first, you will speed up the home buying process and not risk losing out on your dream home if there are problems with acquiring a loan.
